Feisty and Amarok and my Creative Zen V Plus

I am pleased to report that Amarok in Feisty Fawn supports mtp right out of the box. This is a good thing because it means I did not have to go through the bother of compiling my own version of Amarok in order to get it to recognize my Creative Zen mp3 player. It was not detected automatically but it was a simple matter to add it manually. Under Settings you select Configure Amarok and then go to Media Devices which gives you this screen:

Here you just select MTP Media Device from the drop down list and enter whatever name you want in the next box. I did not have to give it a mounting point.

After I did all that, I just plugged it in to the usb cable, clicked connect and immediately the two began happily chatting with each other. Super!
